Description

This amazing apparatus was located on the side of a mountain south of Lithgow. I would be grateful if anyone could tell me what it is, or what it was used for. I am afraid that I am very much a novice when it comes to farm machinery!
Congratulations to all the finalists and winners of the January competition.

Wow, what a find John, never seen anything like it. If you look to the bottom left, it almost looks like a flail on a chain?
I think this was a pretty sophisticated apparatus at one time. Glad you shared this!!! #11256178

Wonderful capture, John! I love the way it seems to have a bit of an animal presence to it. Beautifully captured within the coordinating tones of the surrounding hillside. #11257268
