"White-Cheeked Gibbons"
Uploaded: February 25, 2015 | Entered: February 25, 2015 21:28:46
Gibbons pair for life. In this species males are black with a distinctive crest and white sideburns, females are buff with a black head crest.
These two Gibbons are father and son, sad to say that the mother died several months ago. In the morning when they would first come out the male would sing for his mate, since she died he no longer sings.

Wow, Jeff, they gifted you with a perfect composition! I love the eye contact. They look so sad I actually felt a little pain in my throat. You have quite a collection of animal portraits, one awesome image after another. I have so enjoyed them over the years. #1608830Tammy M. Anderson February 26, 2015
