Description

Entered for Animal and Wildlife Photography, February 24, 2015.
One evening about a week ago I came home and saw this buck deer
along with 13 other doe....does?... in my back yard. I live in a rather crowded section of town and to wonder how they all arrived safely into my back yard was beyond me!

Exif: F Number: 5.6, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 1/100 seconds, Flash: did not fire., ISO: 2500, White balance: Auto white balance, FocalLength: 300.00 mm, Model: NIKON D700

What a lucky moment for you! Not such a good thing for the neighborhood though. Just think of deer ticks! and foliage destruction, and in our case, they have badly damaged retaining walls. But this IS a truly wonderful capture! #1608666

Thanks! My main concern would be for my garden. But I think they all move to higher country as things warm up. Hope so! #11253461
