Description

The fourth church to be built on this site in St. Petersburg, Russia took 40 years to complete. Over 100m high, this Orthodox Church could accommodate 14,000 worshippers. the ribbed dome is gilded with over 100Kg of pure gold.

14,000? I wonder if attendance at Christmas and Easter is as overflowing in this church as it is in so many other churches around the world...?
Rey, you've composed and captured this in such a way that the church's massive size is apparent from the other, smaller domes grouped around the huge one. You make it look so easy to display such things in their finest light. Well done once again, my friend. #11288163
