Getting a Grip

Description

...before the sip.
There have been recent reports of "collapsed hives", and a shortage of bees for pollination. But I saw bees swarming around flower beds near the doctor's office yesterday. They must be the exception to the rule.

It's true, Mary. And it's so sad. We cannot do without them.
I jump up and down with joy everytime I see one!
You captured this little beauty well. #11247699

Wow, great magnification, you must have gotten pretty close to this beauty. I sure need them to get my lemon shrub flowering again. It sure feels like spring with the temps last few days. #11249186

Mary K. Robison February 17, 2015

Thanks, Rey. I hope that, at the very least, a few bees will have a party around your lemon shrub. As for our blue skies and sunshine, I try not to take them for granted. Those poor people on the East Coast! And in the Midwest! And ...anywhere but here, it seems. #11249219
