Slanted Fences
Uploaded: February 11, 2015 | Entered: February 11, 2015 13:59:46
The Island of Kizhi is above the arctic circle and the farms there construct the fences with a slant to facilitate keeping the snow off. They are easily erected and removed if necessary. I tried to compose to also frame a wooden windmill on the right and the 22 domed Transfiguration Church on the left. Hope I am not boring you to much but comments are welcome.

Totally fascinating, Emile. Love the fence and pov and how you were able to capture so much in one frame. At first glance one would assume the fence was erected haphazardly, but but as you mentioned, it serves a very important purpose. Boring- you are not. #11246035Emile Abbott February 12, 2015
