Thanks, Jim! I like your "Yellow Light" under Autos; this yellow vase is a tad brighter yellow than I managed to capture--more like that car you shot!
But I loved how the areas between the yellow canes make the distorted patterns of yellow and black--reminds me of Dale Chihuly's glass pieces! #2099411

Christopher, your perspective and cropping really make this distinctive! Another great composition. Congrats! #2100108

Thanks, Brian & Pat! When the weather isn't perfect, I find myself looking around the house for macro possibilities... But I still have challenges shoot my glass pieces! #2101673

Christopher! Big congratulations on your first finalist medallion! Loved this image the first time I saw it! (I must tell you, I can't believe the judges passed on "Light Lives Here"...!
I hope you'll re-enter that one in a month or so...) regards, Brian #2207281

Chris Budny level-deluxe December 20, 2005

Thank you so much, Dianna & Brian! I had my fingers crossed on 'Light Live Here.' I will likely re-enter it. It certainly has generated the greatest buzz (no pun intended) in my gallery! #2207322

This is your first finalist?! Or these, rather -- what a good month you've had. Congratulations on your multiple finalists, Christopher -- I'm sure we'll see you often on the finalist/winner pages! #2318458

Chris Budny level-deluxe January 21, 2006

Thanks, Kay! This one was my first Finalist ever--won in the Nov. contest. Dec's contest produced 2 more (much to my delight and surprise)--"Capital Idea" and "Keeping Track." Thanks for the vote of confidence! I'll keep working on it; however, I know it is quite a leap, to graduate from Finalist to Second Place (or higher)! #2318505

This award was a "no-brainer"...you deserved this hands down, my friend! CONGRATS ON BOTH! #2320741
