Description

Meet Last Chance Joe; an icon of Sparks, NV. Last Chance Joe is nearly 6000 pounds, 20' wide and 36' tall. The one toothed, white bearded prospector with a floppy hat and a pistol on each hip stood outside the Nugget since May 12, 1958. In 2014 Joe was abandoned by the new Nugget owners, but was rescued by the City of Sparks and moved to a place of honor in front of the Sparks Heritage Museum.

Shame on the new owners of the Nugget! What a fantastic icon and placed in a place of honor! Great capture Dianne #1606316
