Palazzo Style

A striking palazzo I encountered while walking the narrow streets of Florence -- I was glad to have a 16mm ultra-wide, standing on the sidewalk. This building had beautiful window casings, painted details up in the eaves of the roof, and a fantastic, all-over design worked into the stucco exterior, called sgraffito. Layers of tinted plaster are applied, and then scraped away from the top, to create the elaborate imagery.
