Mare! You did so well with this one. WOW! The lighting with the sun and shade were so tricky that day when we were there. Out of all the many pictures I took of this story telling display none of them really have correct lighting. You did far better than I did! For sure. I'd love to go back there with you on a cloudy day. Bravo my dear friend!! xo -Pom on Palm #11234968

BTW I love your framing, having the fountain leading our eye! #11234969

Hi, Pom! Thanks for the praise, but I have to give some credit to the "burn" and "dodge" tools, which helped immensely on the "too-bright" monks and over-shadowed foreground. I bet you could produce your own cool version using those tools (in Photoshop). And I'd love to go back there with you on any day, Pom on Palm. xo :-)
Hope the pills did their job, and you're feeling much better! #11235257

Oh wow! I must have missed this exciting entry. What a place Mary. It's not just one but 12 (if I'm not mistaken) enlightened Buddhas here. The lead -in path makes sure that the viewer explores all the fascinating figures in action. What a find and presentation. There's a Buddhist temple in Chino Hills that I always wanted to shoot and this image gives me the motivation to visit sooner than later. Great job. #11270900
