Morey eel

Description

This capture was taken on a night dive in the BVI in 1983 with Nikonus V film camera and Ikelite strobe. In those days you had to be very specific as every function was manual. You could not change ISO as it was fixed with the film, distance had to be estimated, focus set, exposure set but it gave me all the skills needed to improve my photography. I had disturbed this eel who was protecting his lobster meal so he came out right at me providing this close up mouth open capture. You can see the silt he kicked up with his movement out his hole.
