Description

Photo taken on my walk yesterday evening...actually thought it would rain..
Well the computer I got for Christmas from my hubby last one week, crashed a few times ...
said I had to reboot quite a few times..A friend said I must take it back straight away, so
as soon as I could I did..The good news is that the store gave me a new one, except I did
NOT take the same make I got a HP ...still with windows 8...now to get it set up again, which is taking
me ages.

I hope someone on BP can give you some great tips to speed you along. If you hate the windows 8.1 there is a free shell you can download to give you a Windows 7 Start Menu again...I can locate one for you if you want it. I am dreading setting up my new lap top. Thanks Laura, the start up does not bother me so much as all the other junk that comes with windows I , also so many pop ups come, even on this page..I have max trend security on the computer, but it does not help..I have also deleted extensions ...am so stressed...thanks Laura xx #11222615

I can relate, after having Windows XP for years I finally upgraded my 10 year old HP computer for a refurbished HP with windows 7. Now that most of my programs and games have been loaded and are finally working, I am just getting used to the new system. One thing I am really liking is the new PS CS 6 that a friend sent me. Now I can use all the new filters from NIK and Topaz that I could not install with my antique PS CS 2 :-) I put this off for years, upgrading my old HP until there was nothing else my computer guy could do to it...when Microsoft Windows Xp support ended, I still kept trying to use it. Love HP! Don't worry, in a couple of months you will be an old pro :-) Love the atmosphere of your image too! #11225261
