As He Drove Out of Sight

Description

Perception: After completing a whirlwind trip around the world Santa connected with Mrs. Claus on FaceTime.... And with the promise of a little something extra in his eggnog he made a beeline back to the North Pole for a little R&R!
As you know, he travels at lightning fast speed so I was only able to capture this glimpse as he passed by......

*There is a reason that Santa never brings you a camera that is capable of getting a good picture of him during his travels :-)

Reality: At daybreak, on Christmas morning, I noticed this impressive contrail from an airliner near DFW Airport - I jumped in the family sleigh, that looks a lot like a Ford Expedition, and drove through town to get this image of the contrail that was high in the sky above our community Christmas Tree
