This is a brown spider monkey and her 5-month old baby. Their affection is very apparent and appealing. Originally submitted January 2013; it went no further than an EP. Thank you all for your enthusiasm - what a joy this was to watch. I darkened the background considerably but did little to the mother and child. I stood there a long time and got several shots I like a lot - you'll probably see at least one more in the future (it has a bit more attitude on the part of both subjects :) )
