Celebration

This player was on the winning team of the City Championship last Saturday, and I shot this during the on-field celebration when the game ended. Normally this is a jubilant, raucus time, if only for a few minutes. The game pitted the best team in the Philadelphia Public League against the best team in the Catholic league. The boy plays in the Catholic league, which frowns on such demonstrations. But he WAS happy! They have not lost a single game this season!

A strong emotional moment even though the emotion seems at first at odds with "celebration." #11195550Tiia Vissak November 26, 2014
