Description

The area outside Philadelphia's City Hall has been under reconstruction for two years. I saw the new park for the first time on my way to a Red Cross event last week. Jury is still out. In winter, however, it will be flooded and become an ice rink. Good for photos!
By the way, part of City Hall dominates this frame and the weird plexiglass "thing" covers the new stairs coming up from the subway. The clouds were added, but the day was like this.

Terrific capture, Michelle!! Very interesting how the new 'futuristic' subway cover is placed smack dab in the middle of the 19th century architecture. The ominous sky adds greatly to this composition. #11190210

Everything joins in a most pleasing whole here. That's the scene and garden itself, but hugely, it's your perspective, and arrangement, and processing. This should be great with skaters, but I'd miss those flowers in winter. #11190232

Terrific capture and editing!! Love City Hall and the other buildings but not a fan of the plexiglass "thing." #11190267
