Passing Danger

The one day on vacation when I chose to set up my tripod right on the sand for sunset was the day it poured for 10 solid minutes. I wasn't paying attention to clouds gathering from the east when I set up on this beach. After rain had continued for several minutes, I moved my whole set-up: tripod, towel to protect the screw-legs from sand, camera attached with remote and camera bag on top, and rain poncho attached to the bag, under a palm tree to limit our drenching. The rain did stop right before sunset but worried about bits of wet sand that tend to get everywhere, I only clicked a few shots from the shelter location before retreating inside to assess the sand damage, fortunately just a few grains that made their way into the remote button, and were easily removed.
I did quite a bit of editing on this, including removal of surrounding tree branches from my sheltered location, so I'm entering in Digital Darkroom.
