Do not get this close

Description

This Grand pappa bear was estimated to be about 22 years old by our guide and Canadian awarded photographer, Robert Parker. This fella was tall enough to stick his head in my window. I was shooting close ups with my 5D and 24-105 lens. I dropped to the floor to get this shot angling up. The polar bear nose has evolved & is constructed so they can smell 60 miles away. They breathe in through the front but exhale through the side slits so as not to contaminate the sensors. Have a nice week-end.

Exif: F Number: 7.1, Exposure Bias Value: 1.00, ExposureTime: 1/250 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 1000, White balance: Manual white balance, FocalLength: 105.00 mm, Model: Canon EOS 5D
