This bird sat on the pipe for five minutes while I took numerous photos of his "poses". He flew away twice and came back right away. The third time, he was gone for good.

I love that stretched wing. And I love the way you processed this image and made it look like the bird is part of the pipe, like a pipe ornament.

Thanks, Kiki! I used "burst" mode part of the time, which is the only way I was able to catch a few spread-out wing shots like this. Whatever works, right? ;-D #11180193
