Many thanks, folks; I've read about these famous gates (doors to the Baptistry) and their lengthy execution, their terrible flood damage in the 1960's, and their recent 20-year restoration (moving the originals into a museum here, and putting these replacements back on the building.) So it was a real treat to see this "history" in person. #11166139
