Description

Mary Robison and myself had the most wonderful day together at a Buddhist Monastery
Where we experience, first hand, the peace and joy there is in quiet places such as this.

Man Made Idols and images there told stories of the human race and how to attain the highest wisdom possible while we are here on this earth.

Our final thoughts were that no matter what our own beliefs are, or are not, about a God or gods, it is vital to respect each human being, person to person. The statues expressed all the good things we need to strive to be. This Buddha certainly did make me happy to look at him. He had a big happy tummy, too. So apparently diet and exercise are not the end all to real joy! :D

LOVE your "interpretation" of the Happy Buddha, Pom! It will be amusing when we post the same subject some night, with two entirely unique presentations!
Hope you're still "getting happy" on your Grand Tour. :-D #11154295
