Wedding Day in Washington Crossing

Description

AKA: "Fiddle a Liddle!"
Yesterday two of the young grandchildren (and parents) visited us from Long Island. The morning rain turned to bright sunshine so off we went to show the kids the place where Washington Crossed the Delaware to change the course of the War for Independence. This couple walked past me on a pathway in the park, and I snapped this. And since I'm addicted to TOPAZ Impression, I had to fiddle a little.

Exif: F Number: 6.3, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 1/250 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 400, White balance: Auto white balance, FocalLength: 300.00 mm, Model: Canon EOS 5D Mark III

This is such a wonderful image, Michelle! I love the composition, contrasting colors and moods... sadness of autumn and joyous, happy, ecstatic bride. Great capture and perfect treatment! I understand your addiction... finally we can PAINT. #1589679

I am trying to figure out what Impression filter (or 2) you used here. Is it Van Gogh? I know, I know... do not tell me anything. #11152096

How fortunate for you ~ Kids, grandkids, rain, sunshine, history and great timing! The groom looks as if he might be a little bit tired already, but not her - she is strutting her stuff! #11152276
