Description

The 34th National Veterans Wheelchair Games are being held in Philadelphia from August 12-17 in the Convention Center, mainly.
----
Last night I photographed mostly Red Cross volunteers helping out at the Opening Ceremonies. There are nearly 700 wheelchair veterans participating this year. This was a particularly poignant moment in the Wheelchair Parade.

Wow, you sure know how to tell a story with one simple photograph, Michelle! Love the mood the B+W affords you here, and the little boy sitting on his Daddy's lap, unaware of his Fathers circumstances. Beautiful work, Michelle! #11107437
