Description

Some say this wasn't technically a "supermoon" but it was super for me! Moonset over Pikes Peak August 11, 2014 shortly after sunrise, viewed from Garden of the Gods overlook in Colorado Springs. Tripod-mounted Canon 40D with Canon 70-200mm L. Image has been cropped to give more of a zoom effect.
