I'm MELTING!

Description

----
In the middle of the night, after all the July 4 celebrations, a block of row houses went up in flames in a devastating conflagration. Four children under the age of six perished.
----
Yesterday, the Phildelphia Fire Department, The Red Cross, and other organizations went back to the neighborhood to distribute fire safety information and to install smoke detectors. It was a very sad event. The Red Cross helped 34 people (at least) and are housing many of those at the Red Cross House, an amazing SUPER shelter for families experiencing disaster and loss of home.
----
I was at the walkthrough to photograph the event for the Red Cross.
----
This car was parked across the street from the homes that burned. Amazing.
Siding and decorative objects on the houses on the opposite side also melted.
-----
THAT was a new experience for me.

What a terrible event this was. Those poor people, and their children. Such terror to strike in the middle of the night. Must have been difficult for you to contemplate, even after the fact. #1578581
