This large snapping turtle was about to leap off the edge of the retaining wall, falling about two feet down to the pavement, flat on his back. I wasn't ready for THAT so didn't get a shot. He righted himself immediately, much to my amazement.

Here he was NOT HAPPY that I was stalking him with my 70-200 lens.

There was a little turtle.
He lived in a box.
He swam in a puddle.
He climbed on the rocks.
He snapped at a mosquito.
He snapped at a flea.
He snapped at a minnow.
He snapped at me.
He caught the mosquito.
He caught the flea.
He caught the minnow.
But ... he didn't catch me!
