~PLEASE READ First~ Before leaving a comment understand the following:
1. This was taken with a homemade coffee tin PINHOLE camera. The shutter was open for 3 min as the light was fading fast. It was NOT mounted on a tripod but rather I held it tight against a nearby tree for support and held it as still as I could for the entire 3 min even though the tree I was using as a brace was blowing in the wind.
2. I developed it myself in my darkroom (bathroom in the tub) and I have been doing this for less than a week.
3. I do not own a scanner so I had to take a picture of the pinhole negative with my Sony F707 on macro mode then upload it to PhotoShop where I inverted it so it would look like a print. After having said all that I hope you can find the beauty in this shot that I do and the reward of taking it with a camera that I have made myself. Thanks for taking the time to read all this and for any comments that you make. Critiques #46122

Terry, I love pinhole photography and think you have really done well here, even without your thorough explanation. Can't wait to see more! #143070

Beautiful photo Terry. And how inventive on the camera and the dark room. #143088

You went into alot of work to produce this great photo. And I think it has paid off. You have done more with a tin can, then I can do with my Canon SLR. #143112

I'm very intrigued by pinhole photography. I have a paint-can camera that I won but have never used. Tell me, did you have film in the can or photographic paper? I've heard you can make them out of the small canisters that 35mm film come in as well. ;-) Nice work here and you picked a great subject and sepia toning for it. Well done! :-) #143159
