This incredibly bright red Scarlet Tanager flew just a few yards from my face and caught my eye at Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve on Monday. He eventually alit a little too far away for my Tamron 28-300mm lens to get a clear shot. This is a highly cropped frame, but he is so pretty that I wanted to share.
