Where is the Baby Fox, Kitty?
Uploaded: May 18, 2014 | Entered: May 18, 2014 07:06:09
---
Kitty had snapped a few shots of the slumbering kit but we were all (especially me) having trouble honing in on it with our naked eyes.
----
Becky and Jeanne were trying to see the fox from Kitty's viewpoint, but I had given up--at least for the moment.
---
We (Becky and Jeanne) were standing ankle deep in soaked undergrowth and mud (with water already seeping into our shoes) and it was raining a thick mist. This was when Kitty suggested that we creep quietly up to the stream (closer to the fox) and dip a foot in the water. "I like to pretend I'm a deer," she said. "Then the animals think you're one of THEM!"
----
Ujjwal suggested I enter this shot, so here it is again!
