Taken indoors at The 25th Annual Spring Garden Show, 4-25-14, 7:30 P.M. The third floor of a shopping mall has row upon row of orchids - countless color combinations, shapes, and sizes. You can expect to see a great many of them in the months ahead.

I know a lady that had the most beautiful orchids. Just a total green thumb with them. I AM ALL THUMBS with these delicate beauties. Her "trick" was WEST facing sunlight and grown on her dining room table that was a few feet from the window.

Don't feel bad, Pommers. I managed to kill some orchids a number of years ago...
But since the Garden Show is a yearly event, I now satisfy my love for their exotic beauty through annual April trips to the Crystal Court (a high-end mall).

This year WAS especially nice, as I stayed at the entire event (all three floors), and shot photo after photo for about five hours, nearly double the time in the past. For some reason, my back gave me a break this year... wish I knew what I did right, so I could repeat it in the future! #11039017
