Description

Prayers and offerings are made in a cave named Sururu Gama on Kouri Island, Okinawa, each year, at about this time. Visitors receive blessings from the woman wearing black. She is, AyakoToguchi, a person with special connections to the spiritual world. This cave, can only be entered at low tide because it fills with seawater when the tie comes returns. Photo taken using available light with a Pentax K5, tripod and 50mm prime lens. f/2.5 1/6sec ISO 400. Category: Travel and Place
