Beached at Alnmouth

Uploaded: April 01, 2014

Description

The vast beach and sky at Alnmouth and concrete cubes along the beach that were placed during the second world war as a defence to a possible German invasion. I have cheated here and moved one of the lines of concrete as I used this image as a print in my local club's "leading lines" competition. The tree branch has not been moved as it was there!

Exif: F Number: 20, Exposure Bias Value: -0.33, ExposureTime: 1/60 seconds, Flash: did not fire., ISO: 200, White balance: Manual white balance, FocalLength: 10.00 mm, Model: NIKON D300

Kate, this is lovely! I do like the leading lines, and that branch couldn't have been in a better spot. Love the big open skies that you get with beach pictures. #11015238
