The Day Ends

Uploaded: March 29, 2014

Description

Taken at Galveston Bay as the sun was going down. The water was calm and lapped gently at the shoreline as we sat and waited for the beautiful color to display. We watched pelicans fly over in formation.

It was a great movie that evening!

Taken with a Nikon D7100, 10-24 Nikon DX lens, and pp in LR5 and Nik.

I can never think of much to say with beautiful images such as this Kalena. Although it is even better when I just sit back, close my eyes and think how blessed we are. Thank you. #1568376

Thank you for your lovely comments, Peter! I love sitting along the shore listening to the waves, seeing fish jump, watching the birds fly by. When the sunset starts, everything quiets except for the lapping of the water.

It's just so calming and serene! And yes, we are very blessed!

This is truly lovely, Kalena. And for once, I agree with that other old guy. Wish I could have been there. #11011792

Excellent, Kalena.

Did you add vignetting along the bottom? #11012059

A stunning image Kalena - nothing needed here except to enjoy the shot. #11012114

Thanks, Stephen and Michael.

Stephen, the vignette effect you see isn't vignette. It is a specific light enhancing tool in NIK color effects.
