Your description makes your solemn SP clear, Pom. Sorry for you and everyone else who's still battling the snow, sleet, rain, tornadoes, and hurricanes! Did I leave any natural disaster out? Oh, yeah. Here in California, mudslides always follow rainstorms. And it's supposed to rain heavily later today...
Stay warm!

I suppose you get used to all the snow during 8 months of the year. But you live in a beautiful area. Superb portrait, Laura. You have self-portraits down to a fine science! #11008530

Beautiful, Laura! About an inch of snow overnight here, but it should be melting soon and we're heading toward 60 degrees for a couple of days. #11008537

Very creative work Sister Swanee! You have excelled yourself with this one, I think you could have a winner here!

We had lunch at the local golf club with Pat, Graham and Cindy yesterday! What a great way to spend an afternoon! #11008829

Hi Gord, Mare, Ken, Monnie, Steve, Shelly, Wm, Bro John and Bobby Ray!

Thank you all so much and can you believe it? I did it AGAIN. I forgot to put this one in the MT Category! (Creativity!) Shoot. Lol... As soon as I read any of you saying a thing is "creative", I remember!

I went to the Dr. yesterday because of this terrible chest cold I have had and he said I have the start of pneumonia. He has me on a strong antibiotic inhaler. I am to go back if I start feeling worse. So, if I disappear for a while you will know where I went. The Hospital!

I so much appreciate your comments.

It has been snowing here all day. We have about 9 inches stacked up now. Glad we have lots of firewood and a humidifier going with good old VICK'S Vapor Oil in it!!

I hope you are all warm and safe tonight. :)

Thank you again. Each one.

Bobby Ray, you lucky guy! :)

Heyy – I saw that movie – hmmm – I THINK I saw it.

What was the name of it? The Diva??

Uhoh – Now I’m thinking – I hope Diva means beautiful film star, because this is what I think of when I look at this marvelous creation, Sister.

Old classical movie-star! - A poster for a movie. I can see it on the wall outside the theatre.

Okay – I wouldn’t risk being misunderstood, so I googled ‘DIVA’:

“A diva (Italian) is a celebrated female singer; a woman of outstanding talent in the world of opera, and by extension in theatre, cinema and popular music.”

The word 'Diva' must derive from divine – that’s what I’m thinking.

So you see? It IS a good term.

On the other hand I also found this explanation: “The word diva has several terms. In a nicer meaning, it could mean a woman with superb talents. On the other hand, it could be a nasty woman.”

And you know what? I think we are all both: Divine when we are treated with love and respect – but step on our toes and we become something VERY dangerous. HAHA!

Back to the image: It’s a marvel. And it already has a special place in my heart.

Good Morning SSSKiki. Huge smile here today. I enjoyed your comments very much.

When I was a kid, I was taught there are two kinds of Diva's. Nice ones that inspire the world (which makes them stand out) and other ones like Madonna that wear pointed bras and swing from poles. Lol... If you wanted to be one you have to pick. Either/Or ...

I am happy you found we can all be a touch of both. :))) You are right. Love and respect are key. For us all.

Love you and Thanks for such a rave review! :D

Lulu, this is such a "divine" portrait! You will never be sorry you took so many pics of yourself as you get older, because I think we, as photographers, are always taking so many of everybody else, that we have nothing of ourselves! This is a very special image, I think, and I really do think we'll see it again too!! :) #11011409

Hi Debbie-Doobie :) <--- As in Scoobie Doobie-Do, of course! HeeHee :D

Every once in a while I have lucky clothes shopping days and shoe buying days and lucky SP taking days. I know that one day this will all stop so I try while I am able :D.

I bought new shoes today but I didn't dare buy clothes or take my photo. See? There is a method here. Ahahaha!

TRY IT! You'll be amazed!!! :)))

I always love your visits. Thanks dear lady!
