Description

This magnificent sailing vessel is a replica of the 139-foot yacht (AMERICA) that won the historic, Royal Yacht Squadron’s “100 Guinea Cup” race around the Isle of Wight in 1851.

I captured this image while on a whale watching tour.

Thank you for your kind comments.

Most of the flare is natural, but I wanted to enhance it, for dramatic effect. #11006744
