Another look at Crescent City's Battery Point Lighthouse. I had one eye on the lighthouse and one eye on the tide. I didn't want to get stuck out there for 12 hours..lol

Beautiful shot! Your comment reminds me of an incident I saw when I lived on the tidal marsh in Savannah. A sailboat didn't pay attention to the tide, so was stuck for 12 hours until the next high tide. We watched the guys walk around a bit in the mud for hours! #11002887
