The Beaver Dam

Uploaded: March 10, 2014

Description

Found this Beaver Dam in the Sawtooth mountain range which is perhaps best known in Idaho. Rising up directly from the floor of the Sawtooth Valley, they resemble the Tetons of Wyoming, even down to the large lakes impounded by glacial moraines at their foot.
This goes back to my old Kodak DX7590 camera days in 2005.

Hi Denny, what a gorgeous photo of a Beaver Dam. The colors of the grass are stunning! The lighting and the POV are outstanding too.
I lived in Idaho years ago, and I feel the Sawtooth Mountains are one of the most beautiful ranges in the US.
