Suburban Snow
Uploaded: January 24, 2014
----
This winter season has been wild and stormy all over the U.S. (almost). We are getting clobbered by wind, snow, and frigid temperatures that seem never-ending
----
But this shot of my neighbors' house was taken exactly four years ago. The snow fell quickly and voluminously that year, but it was gentle (apart from uprooting several trees)--at least in my memory.
----
Did some new work on this image, naturally.
----
Shot it with my Canon G9...now in the hands of one of the grandkids.

Winter has that natural ability to add such a beautiful look to any picture as you show here. I love the colors, the look with the trees, that beautiful lamp pole, the house sitting in the back. A lovely winter scene Michelle. #10954799Mary Beth Aiello January 24, 2014

Beautiful, Michelle! Outstanding capture and image of this winter scene! We've had several weeks of very unusual weather out here on the west coast. Mostly clear with lots of sun, not very warm but lots of sunshine. We are over 10 inches under normal rainfall. #10955325Leslie McLain January 25, 2014

Beautiful winter scene. This would make a gorgeous Christmas card. I would love to live in a place like that, except for the cold frigid temps. #10965740Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
