The Gossip

Description

Personification's Appeal. Another beautiful dahlia from the Northern California Botanical Garden beds. Dahlia's are one of my favorites of the florals. They have such a multitude of variations of their form to draw upon in color, shape and size. I'm always in heaven when I'm walking through this area of the gardens. Like pretty much anything else, everything comes alive for me in form and character. This particular dahlia took on a personified form of the town gossip, head high, filling the air with biting testimony at the cost of the unique beauty of the floral wilting in the distance from the unnecessary chastized chattering of this bully. A garden can only grow and thrive, reflecting beauty with the nurturing and warmth that community can positively conjure.
