I got a chance to go up onto the scaffolding in the nave of the cathedral; the platform erected there (to allow inspection & repair of the earthquake-cracked mortar joints) sits about 75 feet off the nave floor. To see the length of the nave's rib-vaulted ceiling at that height was pretty fascinating! The morning was totally rained out and foggy, so the windows gave a pretty even light this time.
