Bloody hot, please help

Uploaded: January 03, 2014

Description

This tree frog was hiding in a flower pot holding the end of the hose. I think the near 40 degrees was just to hot for it. I went to put a seed in the pot & the frog moved & I screamed the top of my voice. I turned the tap on & sprayed it through out the arvo & it came good & was able to move on through the cool of the night. Today, I had a Goanna at the door looking for a drink. Aperture f/4, shutter speed 1/80sec, focal length 11mm, ISO 100.

Exif: F Number: 4, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 1/80 seconds, Flash: fired, auto mode, return light detected, ISO: 100, White balance: Auto white balance, FocalLength: 10.86 mm, Model: DSC-HX30V

I love your garden visitors Chris, and I am particularly fond of frogs! It has been warm lately, and I think it is going to keep it up! I mowed my lawn and it doesn't appear to appreciate all the hot weather of late! #10937037

Kiki, I think you are right, at this very minute there is a small PeeWee out on the front verandah calling out to me to top up the water & put a few snacks out. Thanks for the comment. #10942401

Okay, I see two frogs here. No. A Frog and A Turtle? Or is it NINJA FROG or two of them? Heehee!

Either was we slice it, this is a really awesome and totally original image, Chris! I love the story too. :))) I bet the judges will enjoy this one. :D We sure are!

I missed this earlier frog photo, Chris. He looks so sweet ~ and sad, no doubt from the heat. Glad you are a thoughtful person when it comes to helping little creatures like him.
