From the rear deck of the USS New Jersey, Pearl Harbor survivor (L) Alex Horanzy and Congressman Rob Andrews (host of the ceremony) have just laid (tossed into the Delaware river) the memorial wreath for those lost during the 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor. (see additional photo in the discussion area).

It's quite amazing what you've caught, from the back, that gives clearly the emotions of the moment. I saw some images on TV from the White House photographer of the candids of those on Air Force One on the way to Mandela's funeral and thought of you and the immediacy of the images you've captured. I also thought about what an extraordinary thing that would be to have an opportunity to shoot such special moments in history. Wow, wouldn't that be something to be part of?? #10920342
