A beautiful card Sister Swanee! I am sure Pat will be on the road to recovery very soon, now she is back home with Graham and her dogs! #10912487Laura E. Swan December 01, 2013
Hi Steve, Lydia and John!Thank you all so much! I am so glad to know she is home. She had micro surgery and the recovery time is so much faster and better.
They have heart surgeries like this now too where they do not have to saw your chest open anymore. They go in through a relatively small hole and use toggles to move armatures that go in and fix a person up. A camera and an attomatron arm of sorts go in to do the job now.
Amazing! #10912503

Oh little sister Laura and friends, this is such a beautiful dedication, I'm lost for words! Thank you all for your kindness! The surgery went well! From only being able to walk 35yards I an walk for 8 minutes straight on the walking machine now. As you said they can do tremendous things these days.
I'm like new, it's very hard to keep me down but have got a few rules to stick to, no bending etc. for two months.
Sincerely
~Pat

What a gorgeous get-well image, Pom. The light and shadows are so beautiful in this monochrome photo. And the subdued mood they create is perfect regarding someone recuperating from surgery.#10917267

That does sound serious. Praying for a speedy recovery, Pat.A very special image, SSSLala.
You have created an emotional image with very little tools, which makes you a true artist (well, I know that already).
It's so so beautiful and a sure fav for me. #10921990

Well! THERE are two of my dearest sweeties! Hi Ladies. It's so good to see you both. One thing I have learned from being on BP (My first real exposure to the Internet) is that we can feel so close and even love people without even meeting them. We can pray for them without ever seeing them and we can all band together without actually joining hands in a tangible loving circle.
It can all be done in our hearts. Separate or collectively.
Amazing. Strangers who are not strangers at all. Love found a way. The Internet!
Thank you so much for your kind words for Pat and also for my image and little sleeping Fangy.
There is zero doubt in my mind that our prayers and good vibes and wishes are accumulating for Pat and sending her healing! From all around the world.
That in itself is a miracle. I BELIEVE!!
******** MERRY CHRISTMAS ALL *********
