Wow, Rita. It looks perfect to me. What a beautiful child and a fabulous photographer! (Interesting title...?) #10911374

Excellent Rita! Your portraits have improved quite a bit since the last time I checked in (I'm a bad boy I know). I think the composition creates some visual tension with the girls head leaning to camera left and the neg space on the right. A square or vertical 4x5 crop to even things up on both sides would create a more traditional comp, but that is a matter of taste...I think everything else about this one is spot on! #10911672

Agree with all comments. I really like the way her eyes and the background mirror a diagonal element in the image. #10911711

thanks so much, love that girl. Her best friend is her cousin Logan they were born 3 days apart and he started calling her Bob and she thought that was so cool. She always saying "she the prettiness Bob you'll ever meet".

its so nice to hear from your Sherran and Tony. Tony here is your crop #10911760

Rita’s Bob image
Yes, she is very pretty and yes, you have made a super job of this Rita.
Now that we have seen the two versions I find my attention is held more strongly by the original because for me it certainly has that visual tension that Tony (good to see you again Tony!) mentioned. "Bob" (and can't help smiling over that name) appears to be going someplace in that image and this could be a candid shot that in one's mind's eye suggests even more than it actually shows. It's all in the mind I guess and that's what I like about this group. We each see things differently depending what we have just read in Photography for Idiots or whatever and I smile as I think back a year or so when you would have been jumped all over for chopping the top of Bob's head off. lol #10912391

She is beautiful!!! What a pretty portrait-very nice job Rita. I was going to ask what it would look like if you cropped it as you did on the second post, and looking at it, I think I really like the first better. Beautiful girl with the clear eyes and complexion:) #10912512

Oh Peter you are so right...I have come a long way baby!!! She has one of the sweetness and loving personality with a great sense of humor for her age. She thinks its so funny to be called Bob.

I took this with the temp at 56 if you look close you can see a little redness coming out in her cheek and nose. The only thing that saved me was there was little wind #10912735

Beautiful portrait of a beautiful young lady – even if her name is Bob. I like your original post the best, but you can hardly go wrong with this shot.

Nice to see you Tony!
