Picnic By The Water
Uploaded: November 19, 2013
It hardly ever rains here in the Mojave Desert. In Feb. of 2005 it rained so much that the reservoir overflowed...flooding the Littlerock dam and camping areas. I thought it looked funny seeing picnic tables and grills out in the middle of the water :-)MT category

Beautiful colors and composition, Jill. I live in the high desert of Nevada, and do not get much rain, either, but, like you said, when it does rain, sometimes it floods. We are blessed, however with some of the wonderful colors of our deserts. Your photo is surely an example. #10902966Susan M. Campbell November 20, 2013
