Cozy Corner

There are so many birds that use abandoned buildings to build their nests and raise their families. I found this one to be more decorative than most. It was nice to see that even abandoned, new families arrive and depart from this unlikely home.

Your so right Heather. While abandoned by humans, these old rustic beautiful buildings can be used as a safe haven for the birds and animals. For those of us who enjoy these kind of things, you have come across a beautiful example here with this nest. Love the colors, the textures, and the artful look that it has. Gorgeous look Heather. #1551790Laura E. Swan November 10, 2013
Hi Heather!! :DAs this opened I scrolled down, down, down and found the delightful surprise at the corner right! :)i
HOW SWEET THIS IS! Birds are so smart. They knew where it is the most safe to build their nests, don't they!? :) In the city where I live the magpies terrorize nests. Especially the robins nests. If I have any say so I do not let it happen! I shoo them of and jump up and down and shout until the magpies fly off. )Oh what the neighbors must think!!) They say not to interfere with nature as a photographer but HEY! As a human being to my Robins I am there and alert. It wont happen on MY WATCH! :)
Great job here!! How have you been? It is snowy here!!
