November's Hydrangea

Uploaded: November 07, 2013

Description

---
I think I mentioned before that in the past 18 years, the neighborhood deer have devoured the blossoms before they have fully opened. This year, my neighbors sprayed SOMETHING on the hydrangeas and we an amazing abundance of lacy blossoms. The florets started out in very pale pink and blue -- nearly white. Now, in the November of their life cycle, they are still stars of the lower driveway. They have not been molested in any way...except by maybe the spray itself.

Gorgeous. Usually soapy water will do the trick. #10893261

Interesting that soapy water came to me too. (Emile's comment). I know that is the cure for red spider. (Those teeny tiny red spiders that ruin fur trees etc...).

What a joy to have this new dimension to your yard. Very beautiful and thank you for sharing them., Michelle!
