Higher & higher

Description

As you can see, Rango can now jump up on top of the Air-conditioner unit. I had to get the step ladder out & climb up to get her down. She reckoned that finger water piston (that someone gave Tony when he lost his finger at work) was telling her to do it. Lens aperture f/4, shutter speed 1/50sec, focal length 13mm, ISO 800.

Exif: F Number: 4, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 1/50 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 800, White balance: Auto white balance, FocalLength: 12.52 mm, Model: DSC-HX30V

Well Rango certainly doesn't suffer from Vertigo! Terrific image Chris - so sorry for Tony - hope he is ok. #1551618

Sorry about Tony's finger. Looks like Rango knows how to climb or jump well. #10893053

I don't think Rango can climb much higher inside your house, Chris! What a great shot! #10893229

Oh yes! Rango is climbing the highest mountains on your home! A true kitty! Please be careful on the step ladder,Chris, and I too, am very sorry to hear about Tony's finger. I wish he was able to retire and just relax. :(

Thanks for the comments. John, you are right there, that's as high as she can go, unless she spots the man-hole & can get it open. Tony is fairly use to the loss of his finger, it happened at work over 10 years ago, he did maintenance at the timber mill & a machine broke down, a bloke asked him to look at it & then turned it back on when Tony was working on it. It was a very frightening event at the time, thanks for caring. #10896708

Rango is all kitty! It's almost like he is saying Ha! Ha! Now you can't get me. Too Cute. Glad Tony has adapted from losing a finger! I bet that was freightening. I enjoy your pet images Chris! #10898982

Thanks Amanda, I had to tell her to stay there while I got the ladder, luckily she did or goodness knows what would have happened to the computer monitors!! Yes, it was a bit frightening at the time, we got a message to say he'd had his hand caught in a machine, something was missing & he'd been taken to hospital but we didn't know what one. #10904574

Such a cute capture, Chris. But what IS it with cats and heights? Danny has such long legs I have no doubt he'll be using them very soon to reach our bedroom dresser, the kitchen counter, etc. Joy!
Sorry about the circumstances with Tony's finger. Must have been a wretched day for both of you. #10907224

Not sure Mary, they just seem fascinated with heights, I guess it's like getting to see what's around the next corner. Just as well we don't let her outside without her leash, I can picture her on the roof!! Yes, the finger episode was something we all won't forget quickly. Thanks for the keeping in touch. #10915578

Nice capture, Chris! Cats just love going up. My cat just ran up a tree for the fun of it on the way home from the neighbors. He's part dog, though. He follows me around the neighborhood and loves to visit with people. Terrific shot of Rango. #10923539
