I'd say a square crop, starting in the left, top corner, should fix everything that is wrong with this image. . . .

It was good to shoot with you again, my friend! #1547608

Nice try. I truly enjoyed myself. Thanks for letting me know you were in the area. How do you like that I got the guy with both feet off the ground? #10866070

Debbie E. Payne October 08, 2013

No, Jeff. You need to stay in the picture and keep the proportions as is to keep that great perspective line in the shot. Good "foot work", Dale. I am not sure I could have done that getting both of his feet off the ground. #10866149

Thank you Debbie. Jeff and I decided at this point that since it was starting to warm up, it was best that we conserve our energy. #10866175

Jeff looks a little puzzled or lost not sure which? Maybe he is thinking about jogging? #10866215

Susan Williams October 08, 2013

I'm with Debbie in keeping Jeff in the frame. (A penny for your thoughts, Jeff.) Both feet off the ground is some fancy footwork on your part, Dale (like the pun?) There's a lot to love about this image. #10866232

Dale Hardin October 08, 2013

Believe me Beth, we were definitely NOT thinking about jogging. :o)

Thanks Susan. Of course Jeff was joking about the crop. It was designed to cut him from the image. Hmmm Maybe he has something there. :o) #10866266

Susan Williams October 08, 2013

You could flip it and then crop. #10866283

I should have added, "just kidding." I was playing along. #10866310

This is how I usually film Jeff. Always lying down on the job. #10866323

Funny! I love the first one! I love the diagonal of the palm trees, the levitating runner, and Jeff sitting there looking hot and tired in the sun. That sun sure looks bright! I also like how you put the sun behind a palm tree-the lighting on Jeff's face is really nice.

I like it as it is:) #10867049

Good catch, Dale. The side lighting is great. #10867197

Thanks Stephen. Managed to get a few from this view as we took a break. #10867211

I really like the POV and lighting on this shot. Makes this the iconic scene for Southern California. I would not change a thing despite Jeff’s suggestion. #10867661

Thanks Mike. #10867678
