Description

Here's one for Amanda Tanner. My nieces having fun on the playground at the Jimmy's Beach caravan park when they came to visit us, on the way home from the dentist where Tarrah just got her new braces fitted. Here you see Tarrah doing a nose dive down onto the ground below while Tylah is in fits of laughter up above. My sister Cindy, was looking on nervously wondering if the braces were still in tack. Everything turned out OK. Lens aperture f/5, shutter speed 1/400sec, focal length 30mm, ISO 100.

Exif: F Number: 5, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 1/400 seconds, Flash: did not fire, auto mode, ISO: 100, White balance: Auto white balance, FocalLength: 30.04 mm, Model: DSC-HX30V

I love a story with a happy ending Chris! You were quick on the trigger with this one, what an outstanding action capture! #10829029

Ouch! Tarrah looks like she seriously damaged her face, braces and all. Glad the outcome was ok.
That "jungle gym" for the kids to crawl around on has some great colors and shapes. Cool capture. #10831365

Thanks a lot Emile, yes she is OK but is still surprised at her nose dive & the fact that she wasn't hurt. #10833678

Hi Chris.
I have to admit - I needed to read the whole story before I could laugh. It looks very dramatic.
Great job with the timing and capture of this (now) funny situation.
Funny is also, I think, that we have a climbing frame very similar to this in our town (Vejle, Denmark). And this is only the second time I've seen one of these. #10836733

Wow! Close call! It could have gone differently and she might have teeth braces as well as a NECK brace! Wow!

Very Happy To Hear She Is Okay, Chris!!

Great photo of the interesting jungle gym, too! :D Camping season is over for us now so I am trying to make a come back on BP. :) Great to be in your gallery today!!

Hugs, Laura :)

Thanks every-one for the comments & concern. Tarrah is still amazed at her fall & still talking about the good time she had with her sister Tylah, in this playground. #10854650
